This itinerary is all about ‘you’ time with plenty of opportunities to taste, enjoy and purchase. Grab a bestie, a mate, or your ‘other half’ and have a couple of days of grown up fun on the Trail, hence the name Couple Couple, and before you get too excited – you’d better draw straws for the designated driver role or invite one of your non-drinking friends to be the third-wheel/Des.

Friends, couples, ‘empty nesters’, or those just escaping the kids for a few days can treat themselves with some grown up fun on this itinerary. All these venues naturally welcome and cater for children – so the choice is yours.

Choose from wineries, a brewery, a cidery, a distillery, a coffee roaster, and a tasting centre that features only Tasmania whisky, gin & vodka. Of course you need food in between so we’ve suggested a couple of special stops to line the stomach and places to rest your head. Depending on your taste and time you could add in Emilia Wines or Prickly Mo Vineyard or try out other nearby cafes and restaurants such as Deloraine Deli; or Delish Fine Foods in Burnie. If you need an extra night’s relaxation try Alexandria B & B at Wynyard or immerse yourself in the Tarkine at Corinna Wilderness Experience.
